Meet Elaine McDaniel
Elaine McDaniel has been an integral part of the RCCS team for 13 years. She has taken on a variety of roles during this time and now serves as the Manager of Client Development. Her journey into the corporate world began with RCCS, following a decade-long career in retail sales and banking. Reflecting on her career transition, Elaine shares, "RCCS was my first 'corporate' job, and all of my experience related to what we do comes from the many years working here."
Elaine’s adaptability and eagerness to learn drove her from an account manager role to overseeing client development, managing contracts, business associate agreements (BAAs), and supporting the entire sales cycle. "I've been involved in almost every point of the sales cycle," Elaine explains, "which gives me a unique perspective to assist those who are doing these activities and to offer insights on improving our processes."
Initially hired as an account manager, Elaine quickly demonstrated her ability to take on additional responsibilities. "I was one of those people that if you showed me how to do something, I would learn how to do it really well. Anytime there was an opportunity to learn something new, I jumped at the chance," she recalls. This proactive attitude allowed her to step into various roles, eventually leading to her current position where she oversees the entire sales workflow from initial interest to contracting.
One of Elaine’s key contributions is her ability to bridge the gap between complex legal and security language and practical application. "Often, the people I'm working with may not have as much experience with the legal jargon in contracts and BAAs," Elaine notes. "I see it as my role to explain what this language means, ensuring everyone is comfortable and understands how we will safeguard against risks."
Elaine’s passion for her work at RCCS is driven by the flexibility and work-life balance the company offers, as well as the opportunity to shape her role according to both her interests and the company’s evolving needs. She finds excitement in the company’s growth and the daily variety her job offers. "Every day looks different," she says. "It's a different client, a different scope—something new and unique that keeps me engaged."
Outside of work, Elaine is deeply involved in her community and church, teaching middle-grade Sunday School classes and participating in outreach programs. She is a devoted mother to two sons, one of whom has Type 1 diabetes, which adds another layer of responsibility to her life. Despite her busy schedule, Elaine enjoys reading and taking walks (when the Georgia weather permits).
Elaine’s extensive experience, adaptability, and commitment to RCCS make her an integral player in the company’s continued wins. Her ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities while maintaining a clear focus on client satisfaction and internal support is key to her success and highlights her value to the team.
